All Documents on FounderCatalyst are produced in PDF format, however, we do understand that you may be required to provide copies in Word format; there are a couple of ways you can do this.

You can convert a PDF to a Word document using a variety of tools, including Adobe Acrobat, Xodo, and Smallpdf:

  • Adobe Acrobat: Open the PDF in Acrobat, select Convert from the global bar, and then select DOC from the drop-down menu next to Microsoft Word. You can also use the Export PDF tool in the right pane to choose Microsoft Word as the export format.

  • Xodo: This online converter is available on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS. Xodo claims to keep your data safe and confidential, permanently deleting it after one hour.

  • Smallpdf: This online tool offers a PDF to Word converter.

Alternatively you can also open a PDF in Microsoft Word by going to File > Open. Word will make a copy of the PDF and convert its contents into a format that Word can display. The original PDF will not be changed.
