Option
An option is a contractual right for one or more parties to require another or others to undertake a specified action.
Option pool
A option pool is a collection of the business's shares put aside to give to directors, employees and, potentially, advisors.
Ordinary Shares
Ordinary shares are the basic/default class of share in a company, almost universally giving their holder(s) standard voting, income and capital rights. They will sit under any priority rights of "preference shares" the company may also have issued. Learn more about company share classes
